Dave Reece (guitarist, songwriter and singer) was born into a musical family - including Christine McVie of Fleetwood Mac. Dave, since becoming a professional musician in his teens, has been playing with bands as diverse in style as Rock, Blues, Country, and Reggae - as well as having recorded solo albums including Hearts of Fire, Drive your Thunderbird, Shave and a Haircut, and the to be released - Sands of Kittyhawk. Dave's earliest influences include Chuck Berry, BB King, and The Rolling Stones. After playing with Peter Green and Eric Clapton, he decided to write his first blues album, Shave and a Haircut. Apart from releasing albums and touring he also dedicates his time to encouraging new talent through teaching. Tim Ramage, guitar technician for Dave Hill of Slade, says "Dave Reece is the best Dave Reece type guitarist in the world".
